Ambassador of RA to PRC Sergey Manassarian had a meeting with the Armenian community of Hongkong

On December 10, 2016 Ambassador of RA to PRC Sergey Manassarian had a meeting with the Armenian community of Hongkong at Hongkong “Jack and Julie Maxians” Armenian Center. Jack (Hagob) Maxian, the Center founder, JackMax Industries company President, as well as Armenian businessmen, banking area specialists, sports and art spheres representatives, students, living in Guangdong Province were, present at the meeting.

Ambassador Manassarian made a greeting address to the community. The issues of regular ties between the Embassy and the Community, events coordination, economic cooperation between Armenia and Hongkong, including banking services, attracting investments into IT sphere and widening business connections were discussed, where the community could possibly support the Embassy’s activities.

During the meeting it was mentioned that Armenian language on-line courses could be organized by “Jack and Julie Maxians” Center, as well a scholarship for study at the American University of Armenia for one Chinese student was given by the donations of the Community.
