Event dedicated to the National Day of Armenia in the framework of International Horticultural Exhibition (EXPO- 2019 Beijing)

On September 22, an event dedicated to National Day of Armenia was held in Beijing in the framework of International Horticultural Exhibition (EXPO- 2019 Beijing). The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the People’s Republic of China Mr. Sergey Manasaryan, Mr. Zhao Liangbang, Vice President of Beijing EXPO-2019 Bureau, diplomats of Armenia and other embassies in the People’s Republic of China, Organizing Committee of the Exhibition, as well as directors of international exhibitions and international pavilions.

The opening speech was delivered by Karen Khachatryan, Director of the Beijing EXPO-2019 Armenian Pavilion. Ambassador S. Manasaryan and Vice President of Bureau Mr. Zhao Liangbang also delivered speeches. Both sides noted that Armenia's presence in the Beijing World Horticultural Exhibition is another evidence to the steps taken forward strengthening the economic component in bilateral relations and a favorable opportunity for Chinese companies, as well as for the wider Chinese community to get to know Armenia, its ancient culture and achievements in horticultural sphere (fruit, viticulture Armenian wines and brandy).

In the framework of the event Jazz and Folk Orchestra of Armenian musicians “Nuance” from Yerevan performed as well.
