The Office of Cooperation of RA Opened in China

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the People's Republic of China Sergey Manassarian and Trade Representative of RA to China Hrant Abajyan had a meeting with “Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center” President Lu Zhang in the framework of the visit to Qingdao on November 17, 2017 in Qingdao.

The opening ceremony of the office of cooperation of the Republic of Armenia in Qingdao took place by signing of relevant agreements between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen, as well as between the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia and “Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center” on the same day.

As a result of the six months long negotiations with the “Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center” on the opening of the office of cooperation of the Republic of Armenia parties agreed that from the Armenian side the office functions would be implemented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RA, as well as the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of RA. The function area of the Office of Cooperation of RA in PRC will be northern part of China and include 19 provinces.
