Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress and Head of China-Armenia Friendship Group Lou Qinjian.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the Armenia-PRC bilateral agenda. They touched upon steps aimed at expanding and developing cooperation in the areas outlined in the joint statement "On Establishing a Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the People's Republic of China" adopted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the People's Republic of China in 2025.

The role of inter-parliamentary interaction in the development of bilateral relations was highlighted, the importance of increasing the volume of trade turnover, including the export of Armenian products to the People's Republic of China was emphasized.
