Ambassador Sergey Manassarian handed over his credentials to the President of China

Newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to China Sergey Manassarian handed over his credentials to the President of China Xi Jinping on 17 May, 2016. During the brief talk, which followed the handover ceremony, President Xi Jinping congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of appointment and wished him effective work in further developing bilateral relations.

Mentioning the last year visit of the President of Armenia to China President Xi Jinping said, that China highly values Armenian-Chinese traditional strong friendship and is consistent in the implementation of the arrangements reached between the leaders of the two countries.

Ambassador Manassarian expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and assured that he will do his best to deepen and strengthen existing friendly relations in all spheres between the two countries during his tenure.

Ambassador Manassarian passed the greetings of the President of Armenia and reaffirmed the invitation to visit Armenia at a convenient time.
