Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Mongolia Sergey Manassarian had a meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia J.Batsuuri

 On November 17, 2016, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Mongolia Sergey Manassarian (with residence in Beijing) had a meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia J.Batsuuri.

The Minister mentioned that the level of education of Mongolian graduates from Armenia institutions of higher education is estimated highly in Mongolia. He emphasized that those people are in leading positions nowadays in their spheres of work. Minister J.Batsuuri underlined that Mongolia is interested in sending students to study in Armenia, especially at the Komitas State Conservatory. Ambassador Manassarian mentioned about many students from abroad adding that Armenia can also provide opportunities for the students from Mongolia. Cooperation possibility in science and culture fields was also discussed.

Ambassador Manassarian had a meeting with Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance of Mongolia Kh.Bulgantuya on the same day. They agreed that trade and economic relations of the two countries are on a low level compared to the present potential, which obliges the sides to put more efforts for deeper cooperation. As the first step, draft of Cooperation agreement in economy, science and technical spheres was presented to the Mongolian side, signing of which will create a legal basis to develop economic ties. The sides also agreed to establish cooperation between the trade and economic chambers. Mining, agriculture and new technologies spheres were mentioned as having good perspectives for cooperation.
